BRISBANE, June 22, 2021

Sensium Fleet Telematics has long been one of the most reliable fleet telematics companies in Australasia, providing advanced hardware and systems to enable fleet managers to efficiently manage their fleets, with accurate telematics data collection and reporting that only Sensium can provide.

Now Sensium Labs, the development arm of Sensium, is proud to announce their latest wave of fleet-management advancements. These include fleet focused AI (Artificial Intelligence), VR (Virtual Reality), and AR (Augmented Reality) developments, all paired with Sensium's next generation of locally designed and manufactured fleet telematics devices, putting Sensium at the forefront of next generation fleet telematics and management systems worldwide.

Sensium is making a major shift in vehicle telemetry monitoring by investing heavily into VR/AR development. With this investment, they are able to create products that will meet the future needs of commercial operations such as their Sensium VR and AR product line which has already been widely accepted among customers currently being trialled.

Sensium sees Virtual Reality, Augmented Reality and Telepresence as the future of vehicle telemetry monitoring in commercial operations, and their VR and AR products are already providing real-time 3D simulations of fleet movements in a way which is simply mind blowing.

While Artificial Intelligence has been a hot topic of late, Sensium is fortunate to have 15 years worth of driver behaviour data and Sensium Labs is currently working on creating AI-driven datasets for fleet managers.

Just one of the opportunities being developed is the Sensium Automated Driver Scorecard, which rates a drivers safety based on their performance over time, with anonymised comparison to other drivers. If a fleet manager notices this person tends to brake harshly when there is poor weather conditions, they might recommend remedial training for driving so the driver is better prepared and safer out on the road.

Sensium continuously strives to make life easier for businesses by finding ways to bring them value through innovative technology, and is already seeing the benefits of their work, with more and more fleet managers turning to Sensium as their partner for fleet management and driver safety. It's been a long journey but Sensium is committed to giving drivers what they deserve - safer roads, and Fleet Managers an opportunity to shape the future of the businesses they are immersed in.
